Levin Press was founded in 2010 by Ofer Levin in order to promote the cultural and artistic life in Israel. The Press publishes books on contemporary art in Israel which combine high quality printings with original interpretive articles. Every book offers a deep observation on an artist, artistic movement and approach or on a specific topic which enables the reader to closely experience the work of art and study it through the author’s eyes.
Among the books published by Levin Press are art books on young and accomplished artists, a series that bands together selected works from the Levin Collection with accompanying interpretive text by Gideon Ofrat, and books that focus on international influences over Israeli art at different stages in Israel’s history. Moreover, the press sponsors the production and publication of catalogues for art exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
