The exhibition “Uri Lifshitz – Flesh and Blood” (28 May 2016 – 3 September 2016) at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art presented artwork by Uri Lifshitz (1936 – 2011), a diverse artist in sculpture, painting, engraving, collage and drawing. It examined Lifshitz, the artist and the man who had shaped, among others, the most significant milestones of Israeli art and culture. However, Lifshitz was also a rough sabra, a man of the soil and a warrior. “A look in the mirror” from the Levin Collection, owned by Ofer Levin GTI, was one of the works on the exhibition’s display.
